Amaravati is a well known pilgrimage centre in Andhra Pradesh and thousands of pilgrims flock to Amaravati every year. However, a tour to Amaravati can be a rewarding experience for the not-so-devout as well.
How to Reach :
1.By Road :
Amaravati is very well connected to Hyderabad. Ti takes about 7 hrs by road from Hyderabad to Amaravati.
2.By Train :
Amaravati falls in the Hyderabad-Vijaywada and Hyderabad-Guntur line and is connected by numerous trains that pass over the station.
3.By Air:
Vijayawada domestic Airport.
Best Time to Visit :
Summers are uncomfortably hot and humid. The best time therefore to visit Amaravati as far as comfort is concerned is between October and March.
