1.By Road :
Chennai has both domestic and international airports. Chennai is well connected to several Indian cities as well as international metropolises. The international flights arrive at the Anna Terminal whereas the domestic flights at Kamaraj Terminal. Flights are serviced in the city with major airlines. Frequent connections are available. From the airport, autos, private cars, buses, etc. can be taken to commute in the city.

Chennai Central, Egmore and Tambaram are the three railway stations in Chennai. The capital of Tamil Nadu is well connected to most major parts of the country. Trains connect the city to anywhere in the country. Taxis, local buses and auto rickshaws are easily available from the stations to reach anywhere in the city.

Best Time to Visit :
Located on the coast of south east India, Chennai has a hot and humid climate for most of the year. The best time to visit the capital of Tamil Nadu is the winters which sets in from November to February. Winters are a pleasant season to check out Chennai. The temperatures are a little lower as compared to the summer months. The sea breeze soothes at night in every season. The average temperature ranges from 28 to 32 degree Celsius. Give the monsoons a total miss. The humidity becomes uncomfortable. July to September is not the best time to visit. December and January are the peak months for travel to Chennai.
Places to Visit :
Marina Beach
A place where you can feel yourself close to nature and enjoy the beauty of the sunset. It is a suitable place where you can release your tiredness of a busy day. Marina Beach is the 2nd longest beach in the World.
Anna Square
Dr. C.N. Annadurai, the late Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu was a highly noble person and very popular among the people of Tamil Nadu. Thousands of people visit at his ‘Samadhi’ (tomb) everyday to pay their respect.
Fort St. George
Fort St. George is one of the most significant buildings of the British rule. There are many important buildings inside the fort including a church and a museum.
Jain Temple
The Jain Temple is completely different from the other temple in the city. The temple holds beautiful sculptures of Lord Mahavira, tirinthkaras and Lord Shantinath to whom the temple is dedicated.
St. Thomas Mount
The tomb of the great Saint Thomas lies on the mount near the Airport. He preached and travelled the Malabar and Coromandel coasts of the country.
