History
Sivagangai is a wonderful small town which has the remnants of its glorious past. Founded by Sasivarnana Periya Udaya Thevar, he was considered to the first king of the Sivagangai dynasty. Kundrakudi:Situated near Thiruppathur near Sivagangai, Kundrakudi is famous for temples and the temple of Lord Subramanya is located here in this place. For this reason a large number of pilgrims visit Kundrakudi
